Trying New Things

I thought I would try to make some metal framed purses. This is my first attempt. I’m pretty pleased with how it came out. I even managed to get it done without covering me, the fabric, the frame, the table, etc… with glue. (it was almost a given that I would get glue everywhere) I’m trying to make some time to get some more made, maybe to sell at Flaunt. Operation DIY Kitchen Remodel is still underway. We are not going to talk about that though. Only to say that this weekend didn’t go so well. HGTV makes things look so dog-on easy. WHATEVER, HGTV….what.ever.

Nice Job on the purse, sorry about the kitchen. It always takes us twice as long to figure out HOW to do a new project than it does to actally complete it….hopefully the next attempt will be better.

  2. The purse is sweet.

My husband is redoing his mother’s kitchen right now, she had a flood; it’s not an easy task. Hang in there, I’m sure it will be great when you’re done.
