Shew!

Man, it’s been a busy week! Every time I get caught up…more opportunities come my way. I am busy, busy, busy and so grateful for all the work. I have been sewing non-stop lately and even though it is work, it is also doing what I really love to do, so it makes it okay with me. I finally, after months and months of saying I was going to do it, got some fabrics listed in my etsy shop. They are Free Spirit and Michael Miller and they are beautiful, so if you get a chance, check them out. I also have been getting ready for a little pot luck dinner we are having at our next quilt guild meeting. Members of the guild are decorating tables in a garden theme this year. I am joining up with a lady I call “My Quilting Mentor” (MQM) to decorate a table. We are both new to the guild and have no idea what we are supposed to be doing, so this should be interesting. We have managed to recruit several very nice women to join us at our table. If the meeting is half as fun as actually preparing for it has been, then I feel I am in for a great evening. I plan on stepping away from the sewing room this weekend to spend some much needed quality time with my hubby and super cute little boy. I am sooo ready to spend the day with those two on the lake. (ummm… one of those Amy Butler sun hats for would be perfect for a day out on the lake. I wonder how long it would take to make one…) Have a great weekend everybody!
