This little guy has been doing plenty of this… (isn’t he sweet)
So while he has been doing that, I have been spending the quite time trying to get back into a little sewing.
It took me about a week to get the binding sewn on a little baby quilt, but I got it done. Too bad little Nolan won’t be using this one. I don’t think pink would be a good color for him. There is more to come. I have an all new UFO list made out for 2011.

Quilt Market!

me with Anna Maria Horner
me with Joel Dewberry and Valori Wells
What can I say! Quilt Market was so much fun! I had the best time and met lots of my favorite fabric people. I hate to name drop, (okay… no I don’t) but I will. I met Valori Wells, Joel Dewberry, Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, Sandi Henderson, Pat Bravo, Heather Bailey, Eleanor Burns and Patty Young, just to name a few. I totally geeked out and got my picture made with lots of them. (and if you know me, you know I hate, hate, hate getting my picture made) It truly was a once in a lifetime experience for me. When I told my family and husband who I met their eyes just glazed over like I was speaking some weird alien language, but I know you all get me and get how awesome it was. It was so inspiring. I started sewing as soon as I got home. I am so, so thankful to the Boss Lady for taking me along.
