My friend, Kathleen, appliquéd this beautiful Dresden Plate quilt and I was so excited to get to quilt it for her. It measures about 89″ X 106″. The dresden’s are made using Fat Quarters from Art Gallery’s Sweet as Honey Collection and they are hand appliquéd on Essex Linen. She backed it using Cloud 9 Organic Voile. It is pretty sweet all the way around. Kathleen is the reason I am the quilter and the longarm quilter that I am today. She taught me how to quilt and encouraged me to longarm. Thanks kb! It’s always good to have my 3 helpers on staff when it comes to getting pictures of the beauties I get to quilt. I think they have a pretty good system going.
