Fletch is 3 and really “gets” Christmas this year. He was a good little helper. He had all the ornaments out the the box before the hubbers and I got the lights on the tree.
He topped it all off with candy canes. We spent Sunday putting all the decorations are out and I’m ready. (Kind of.)
My sister thought it would be a good idea to tell a 3 year old that he really needed a go cart for Christmas.(Never gonna happen.) She even gave him a clipping from the newspaper. Now, every one in the family knows that you should not make suggestions to my OCD kid unless you are committed to that suggestion. So, now I have spent the last 3 days trying to explain to a stubborn 3 year old that his Aunt is crazy and should have never made such a suggestion because Santa isn’t going to bring him a go cart. Thanks Aunt Has-No-Sense. Your day will come. I think your little girl is going to need a pony when she is three.

Love the story and the tree! Pics are so cute of Fletcher looking at the tree!
Maybe a battery powered Jeep to start with…the go cart can come later!
Nope. No go cart but Nane’s got a good alternative for you. You’ve got the perfect place for a battery powered Jeep.
No go cart! Yeah, wait until he is a little older.
We went to Sparta to get our tree on Saturday. We have been doing it for 20 years now. All up and decorated. There is nothing like the smell of the Christmas tree.
