I Received a Kreativ Blogger Award!

Today I received a Kreativ Blogger Award from Kelly at John’s Daughter blog. I’ve never gotten a blog award so I am very excited about it. Thank you so much Kelly. Now I believe I am supposed to tell everyone 7 interesting things about me, so here it goes…

1. I own way more sewing machines than any one person really should. I would list them, but you might think I’m crazy.

2. I have a twin sister. Her name is Lori and we are a lot a like and also very different at the same time.

3. I live on a farm and my husband raises beef cattle.

4. I went to Meredith College , an all girls school in Raleigh, and have a degree in Interior Design.
5. When I was in college, I did an internship at the Preservation Society of Newport County in Newport, Rhode Island. I worked at historic mansions like the Vanderbilt’s summer home, The Breakers.

6. I think that if it takes more than three steps to make, it should be considered cooking.

7. I have no middle name. (Lori doesn’t either) So now I just use my maiden name as my middle name.

It isn’t earth shattering, but those are some things about me.

    Thank you for the award Gina! I agree with you on the cooking and consider opening a can and sticking it in the microwave two steps.
